How to Grow and Care for Lion Miniature
🌞 Light Requirements
Lion Miniature prefers bright, indirect sunlight for healthy growth. It can tolerate mild morning sun, but harsh afternoon sunlight should be avoided to prevent leaf burn. Keep it near a bright window with filtered light.
🌡️ Temperature & Humidity
This succulent grows best in temperatures between 18°C to 30°C. It does not tolerate frost or extreme cold. Normal indoor humidity levels are suitable, as it prefers a dry environment.
🌱 Soil & Potting
Plant in a well-draining succulent or cactus mix. You can enhance drainage by adding perlite, pumice, or coarse sand. Always choose a pot with drainage holes to avoid root rot.
💧 Watering
Water sparingly and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During spring and summer, watering once every 10–15 days is generally sufficient. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows down.
🌿 Fertilization
Feed lightly during the growing season with a diluted succulent fertilizer once a month. Avoid fertilizing during winter dormancy.
🌱 Propagation
Lion Miniature can be propagated through leaf cuttings or offsets. Allow cuttings to dry and form a callus before planting in dry, well-draining soil.
✂️ Pruning & Maintenance
Minimal maintenance is required. Remove dried or damaged leaves to maintain its compact and attractive shape.
🐛 Pests & Issues
It is generally pest-resistant but may occasionally attract mealybugs or aphids. Inspect regularly and treat early if necessary.
With proper light, minimal watering, and good drainage, Lion Miniature will thrive beautifully and add a bold, decorative touch to your indoor succulent collection.
