Green Deer miniature thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. It can tolerate mild morning sun, but avoid strong afternoon sunlight as it may scorch the leaves. Place it near a well-lit window for healthy growth and vibrant green color.
This succulent prefers temperatures between 18°C to 30°C. It does not tolerate frost or extremely cold conditions. Normal indoor humidity is sufficient, as it prefers a dry environment.
Use a well-draining succulent or cactus mix. You can mix regular potting soil with perlite or coarse sand to improve drainage. Always use a pot with drainage holes to prevent excess water buildup.
Water sparingly and allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. During the growing season (spring and summer), watering once every 10–15 days is generally enough. Reduce watering during winter dormancy.
Apply a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer formulated for succulents once a month during the growing season. Avoid fertilizing in winter.
Green Deer miniature can be propagated through leaf cuttings or offsets. Let the cuttings dry and callus before planting them in well-draining soil.
Minimal pruning is required. Remove dried or damaged leaves to maintain a neat and attractive look.
It is generally pest-resistant but may occasionally attract mealybugs or aphids. Inspect regularly and treat promptly if needed.
With proper light, limited watering, and well-draining soil, Green Deer Miniature will grow beautifully and add a fresh, charming touch to your indoor plant collection.
